Tanner Robert Humann

February 4, 1995 - March 25, 2022

Born February 4, 1995 wrote the final chapter of his brief life on March 25, 2022. Tanner was born in Denver, Colorado to Dave & Kerri Humann, and called Denver his home. He was a shining star with a lust for life. Tanner loved deeply and unconditionally. He was an accepting, passionate, intuitive soul whose beauty shined brightly, both inside and out. His artistic, enriching, unabashed vision graced many canvases with colorful, altruistic style. Many across the country loved, admired and displayed his art; the brush strokes he mastered spoke volumes to all who held him in high regard. He impacted the life of everyone he met on so many levels. With his curly, disheveled hair, electric blue eyes, quirky smile and Blue Steel chiseled cheekbones … he was uniquely beautiful. Tanner walked to the beat of his own drum, and did so with impeccable grace and vigor.

His zest for travel leant itself to adventures coast-to-coast, making lifelong friends everywhere he went. Tanner tried his hands at many professions from bartending to car sales to freight logistics, the latter under the support and guidance of his father.

Tanner left behind a large family of loved ones: his mother, Kerri Humann; his father and stepmother, Dave & Kimberly Humann; his brother, Conner Humann; his stepbrothers Travis LaChappelle and Tyler LaChappelle; his paternal grandmother, Cathy Humann; his maternal grandparents, Bob & Debbie Borgerding; his partner in love and life, Jason Hefley; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and a large family of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Humann. He was loved by all who knew him. At 27, Tanner left too soon, but his legacy and impact on those who knew him was significant, unforgettable and priceless. He will be greatly missed.

Tanner wished to leave his imprint further on this world with a “water cremation”, to be returned to the earth in his purist form. He was honored in that manner on Saturday, April 02, 2022. A Celebration of Life will follow at a date TBD this summer.

Rest In Peace, Tanner. You are so loved. 💖
