Marcus Brandon Cruse (Marc)

December 2, 1971 to April 5, 2022

Marcus Brandon Cruse (Marc) was born December 2, 1971, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver Colorado. When Marc was little, he had a problem pronouncing his sister's name, Christy, correctly. He ended up calling her TT, which lasted long after he could pronounce it correctly. He completed school and discovered he loved to cook. He even did an internship at Pinehurst Country Club. Marc worked hard at every job he had, particularly at Panera, where he excelled at getting each day's bread ready. He genuinely enjoyed that. Although he worked hard, he always managed to make friends along the way. He was even making friends when he was no longer able to work. Marc had a strong love of family, which included his pets and especially his son Brandon, whom he often referred to as his best friend. Marc always loved Star Wars and when Brandon came along, he taught him the ways of the force. He read many Star Wars books over the years and was truly knowledgeable on the subject. His favorite character was Darth Vader and he even enjoyed watching The Mandalorian and Boba Fett. Marc was one for keeping health issues quiet and private. Marc passed away on April 5th, 2022, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. A small, family only service was held on April 13th, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Amber; son, Brandon; parents, Bryan and Paulette Cruse; sister and spouse, Christine Cruse Allen, and Thomas Allen; nephew, David Cruse; niece and spouse, Devan and Daniel Romero, and three great-nieces.
