Gene Leroyce Kruse

September 2, 1951 - April 21, 2022

Gene passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on April 21st after a sudden illness at the age of 70.

Gene was born in Gothenburg, Nebraska on September 2nd, 1951 to Esther and Wilbert Kruse. The fourth of six children, he was farm raised and lived in Nebraska throughout his youth. In the 70’s Gene moved to Denver where he found community in the church and square dancing. During his life he had many passions: righteous music played in the highest quality, studying God's teachings, hiking, biking and exploring the mountains. He loved books which is why he enjoyed his career as a press operator for a local bookbinder, where he was a faithful employee until they closed and he retired. Gene is survived by his daughters Deela and Tiffany, as well as three grandchildren.
