Judy Manley

January 25, 1942 - May 27, 2022

Judy was a kind and caring mom and friend. She was gentle and sweet, but never shied away from a political debate. Judy was born in Yankton, SD, but grew up in Medford, OR. She has an older brother Dan (Eugene, OR) and a younger sister (Jill, who passed away recently and lived in Walnut Creek, CA). Being 7 years older, Judy felt early on that she should take care of her little sister and as a result they were very close. They talked every week throughout their lives. Judy grew up in a small town in the Pacific NW (Medford, OR) with her best friends Jackie, Marsha and Sue whom she has had many special reunions with. Judy became a single, full time working mom raising 2 boys in the late 1970's. She moved back to California in the 1980's when the boys were off to college, where she worked in property management. Judy loved to learn and in her 40's she earned a PhD in Psychology. She moved back to Denver in 2000 to be near her boys, Jeff, and Michael (and wife Shirley), and her grandkids Nicole (Henry), Kyle (Miranda), Addie and Tommy (and recently her great granddaughter Charlotte) and started a successful bookkeeping service. Judy enoyed time with her dogs (Charley and Jasper), reading, doing P90X, and time with April and her book club friends. She will be greatly missed, but will be reunited with her sister and dog and buddy, Charley.
