Mary Berndt, 85, died July 3rd with family by her side. She leaves behind Fred Berndt, husband of 62 years and 2 daughters, Cindy Medina and Yvette Berndt. Mary was born and raised in El Paso, Texas and lived there well into her senior years, when she then decided to move closer to family in Colorado. Mary is survived by 2 sisters, Norma Chavez and Vera Arellano, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Mary served faithfully at St. John’s Catholic Church in Loveland, CO, where she served communion for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her son Paul Berndt.
