Kristie Collins-Pierce

Kristie was above all else a caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and relative. She was kind without fail to all living beings and always championed those who were belittled. She frequently and generously contributed to charitable organizations for veterans, children and animals and was passionate about preserving the environment. Kristie was a gifted and prolific needle arts creator who crocheted and knitted many fine blankets, hats, and pairs of socks. She was a member of the Yarn and Needle Arts Group at the Standley Lake Library. She excelled at many other creative endeavors including jewelry making, photography, gardening, playing the guitar and tending houseplants. Kristie always embraced new experiences and travel adventures with open eyes and childlike wonder.

Kristie is survived by her husband Scott Pierce, her son Lucas Ross, her mother Ann Collins, sister Ellen Wolfis, and step mother Mary Collins. She is predeceased by her father John Collins. Her fur babies Dixie and Buddy also preceded her.
