Santianna Rena Horseson
March 15, 1972 - February 9, 2024
Santianna Horseson, a beloved daughter, sister, partner, mother, grandmother and friend to many, passed away on February 9th, 2024 in Denver, Colorado. She was born on March 15th, 1972 in Tuba City, Arizona to Mae Horseman and the late John Horseson. Santianna's passing has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who knew her.
Santianna is survived by her loving partner Andrew Wallace; daughters Gabriella Slinkey and Whisper Grayeyes; grandsons Lowell Slinkey and Jett Chee; her devoted mother Mae Horseman; cherished grandmother June Benally; dear sister DeeAnn Walker; brothers Lee John Horseson Sr. and Jemez Horseson; as well as numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Throughout her life, Santianna had a deep love for nature and spent countless hours outdoors enjoying its beauty. She found solace in the natural world around her - from the majestic landscapes of Arizona to the serene mountains of Colorado. Her passion for nature was only surpassed by her adoration for being a grandma. The joy she felt when spending time with Lowell and Jett brought light into every room she entered.
Santianna's kind heart extended beyond family ties as she dedicated herself to volunteer work within her community. Her selfless acts of kindness touched the lives of many people in need. Whether it was lending a helping hand or offering words of comfort, Santianna's generosity knew no bounds.
Her warm spirit made everyone feel welcome in her presence - she had an uncanny ability to make others feel loved unconditionally. Those fortunate enough to have known Santianna were blessed with not only a friend but also someone who would go above and beyond without hesitation.
In accordance with Santianna’s wishes, she will be cremated followed by a private service attended by close family members where they will honor their beloved matriarch one last time before spreading her ashes at some of her favorite places surrounded by those closest to heart.
The loss of such an extraordinary woman leaves behind immeasurable grief but also serves as a reminder that we were all privileged to have shared our lives with someone so remarkable.
