Richard Alan Hein Obituary Denver, CO

Richard was a Colorado native who loved Colorado's mountains and sports teams. He had a sense of humor he gladly shared with anyone he met. He would give of his time and resources to help any person or animal who needed help. He was a compassionate caregiver to his mother and brother-in-law and the animals in his care. He loved dogs, hiking, history and football, especially his alma mater, the University of Colorado Buffaloes. He enjoyed movies and could quote his favorites as a matter of course. He planned amazing vacations and holiday celebrations. He was talented and creative and made fantastic Halloween costumes and painted a mural for his grandson. He made his daughters Pooh Bear pancakes. He was impossible not to like.

He is survived by his sister Sandra Figgins, who was a good friend to her brother in his last years, his grandson Brandon Micale who shared his love of football and his two daughters, Sarah Hein and Cheryl Donnel, who really, really loved their dad.
