Chris Olson passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 48 in Littleton, Colorado. He was born on March 13, 1976, in Linn County, Oregon. Chris was a loving husband to Jennifer Olson and a devoted father to his children, Liam and Ace.

In his career, Chris was an accomplished Audio Engineer and systems designer who had a passion for getting every detail just right. He worked on prestigious events such as the NBA All-Star Games, MTV Video Music Awards, and the Academy Awards. His work on intimate performances like VH1 Storytellers brought him great joy.

Outside of work, Chris immersed himself in his love for music. He enjoyed finding and sharing obscure musicians and songs with friends and especially his 14-year old Ace. He shared a passion for cycling with his son Liam and devoted himself to cultivating Liam’s cycling talent. Chris's other hobbies included hiking, skiing and enjoying nature.

Chris was known for his sense of humor and storytelling. He had a knack for making people laugh and lifting others up. He loved animals, especially cats.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held on Sunday, June 30th, at 10:30 am at the Tolland School House in Colorado, with a reception to follow.
