Samuel Wilson Obituary Denver, CO

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Mitchel Wilson in an unexpected and tragic accident, 12 days shy of his 14th birthday. He attended Prairie Hills Elementary School and Rocky Top Middle School.

Samuel’s life was always on the right path, regardless of the hardships he had to weather.

Samuel had a big heart. He was full of joy. Samuel was known for his sense of humor (especially knock knock jokes and lines from his favorite animated movies), his sweet nature, and multitude of friends. Samuel had a smile that would light up a room. Everyone who knew him well loved him for his big heart and peaceful spirit. He will be missed dearly.

He also loved Legos, Sonic the Hedgehog, the color red, regular and magnet fishing, science (electric eels and hurricanes), Katy Perry music (Firework and Roar), gardening, and playing on his iPad.

It is hard to believe that someone as young as 13 years old could leave behind a lifetime of memories, but he really has. We are just heartbroken that he didn’t live longer to make more.

He is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Angela and Brian. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Andrea and Darwin Wilson of Westminster, Colorado and his maternal grandfather and his wife, Elizabeth and James Neubert of Fort Myers, Florida. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, cousins, teachers, family friends, classmates, as well as the many lives he touched. He will forever be adored.

We know that he was welcomed by his Nana, Claudia Neubert, and is in good hands.
