Karlyle Philip Walker

Karlyle Walker, also known by his stage name Krushendo, was born on August 17, 1986, in Santa Monica, CA. He sadly passed away on July 7, 2023, in Fort Collins, CO, after a sudden and catastrophic illness as the result of an injury. Karlyle leaves behind a loving network of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Karlyle is survived by his brother, Alan Walker, Alan's wife, Cali Walker, his nephew, Patrick, and nieces, Keelin and Shelby. He also is survived by his aunt Sharon “Quonie” and her husband, Bob Morris; his aunt Delanie, his Uncle Craig, and his cousins Niles, Claire, Ansley, Jillian, Christine and Willella. Karlyle was preceded in death by his parents, Diane Walker and Danny Walker, and his grandparents Ed and Evelyn Prendergast and Loyd and Maxine Dotson.
Karlyle had a deep passion for music, technology, and the arts. He obtained a B.A.S.c. in Web Development from Colorado State University. Karlyle showcased his exceptional talent as an artist under the name Krushendo, excelling in multi-instrumental melodic bass and dubstep production, along with DJing. His performances were truly remarkable – headlining renowned venues such as Cervantes, the Aggie, the Mishawaka, and Your Mom's House. Karlyle also had the privilege of playing at festivals like Arise and Electric Forest, leaving an indelible mark on the electronic music scene. Karl was working to produce his own festivals and was currently touring with AstralBliss.
Among his many achievements, Karlyle was most recognized for supporting Illenium at the X-Games in 2022 and winning the Untz Producer Challenge in 2019.
Karlyle's talent extended beyond music. He was an incredibly gifted web designer, graphic artist, and the proud owner of LifeBloom Creative, LLC. His work inspired others, as he created stunning websites that showcased his creativity and skill.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Karlyle was driven by a love for life. He possessed a passionate spirit and a natural ability to inspire those around him. With his quick wit and intelligence, he could always bring a smile to people's faces. His presence in the Fort Collins music community was deeply valued, and he touched many lives with his message of love, compassion, and joy.
Karlyle Walker, aka Krushendo, will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the music community. He leaves behind a legacy of artistic brilliance and kindness – making a profound impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal harmony.
