Alexander William Mark
Alexander William Mark, known to many as Curly, was born on November 8, 1992, and unexpectedly passed away in mid-August 2023 from asthma complications. A wonderful, loving son and brother, he is survived by his family and a huge network of friends across the country.
Born in Bronxville, New York, Alex spent the early years of his childhood in Florida, where he established his love of video games and began learning to play drums.
However, his true passion in life was music. He was a gifted and dedicated drummer in his punk band, All Waffle Trick. The band started when the guys were in high school, and over the years they gained a strong following in the Denver area. They played some major shows, like last year's Punk in Drublic at Fiddler’s Green. Such a great show! Their music can be found on Apple Music and Spotify.
Alex loved to travel. He went to China and Israel with his sister, Margaret; to Aruba with his family; and to Germany, Ireland, and Czech Republic on his own. He had plans to visit Japan with his friends in the coming year.
To those who knew him, Alex will be remembered for being a kind and generous person who was always ready to do anything with and for his friends. Whether that was going on trips with the guys, camping at the Sand Dunes with the gang, traveling the country touring with his band, or just hanging with his friends, he was there.
But what Alex will be remembered for most is his laugh. Alex loved to laugh.
