Richard “Dick” Tilschner

May 22, 1939 - March 12, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Richard "Dick" Tilschner, beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us peacefully on March 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Born on May 22, 1939, Dick led a life full of adventure, love, and accomplishments.

Dick is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy, with whom he shared a lifetime of memories. He was the proud father of two sons, Matt and Mark, and a loving daughter, Heidi. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially enjoying the great outdoors. Whether running, sailing, climbing, fishing, or riding horses, Dick embraced nature and taught his children the value of being connected to it.

One of Dick and Nancy’s most treasured places was the Methow Valley, where they spent countless hours cross-country skiing together. The beauty of the valley, combined with their love for each other and the outdoors, made it a special retreat for them year after year.

A man of many talents, Dick was not only known for his passion for outdoor activities but also for his culinary skills. He loved to cook, and his coffee was legendary—often a centerpiece of family gatherings and good conversations. His home was always open, and his warm spirit made everyone feel welcome.

Professionally, Dick was a highly successful sales manager, earning respect and admiration for his work ethic and leadership. He built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients, leaving a legacy of success in his field.

Dick’s generous heart, unwavering dedication to his family, and love for life will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through his family, friends, and all the lives he touched.

Rest in peace, Dick. Your adventurous spirit and love will never be forgotten.
