Carl Edwin Richard grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, the youngest of 4 children. From the beginning he was active, playful, bright, and spirited. A bout of spinal meningitis left Carl with profound hearing loss. Perhaps because of his deafness, he became a keen observer of people and the natural world. He loved animals, kept back-yard pets, collected elephant figures, excelled at ice hockey and played for the Junior Allstar team.

Gail Abbott, age 75, died suddenly of natural causes on December 16, 2023 in her Golden, Colorado home with her wife by her side. She is survived by Sue Ammen, her life partner/wife of 44 years; daughter Kayli Ammen; son-in-law Devin Stinchcomb; nephew Tristan Jeffery; sister Leslie Abbott; and Leslie’s daughter Elizabeth and grandchildren Lily, Calvin, and Penny; as well as many other relatives on both sides of the family who will all miss her greatly.

Charles graduated from Santa Barbara High School in Santa Barbara. He continued post graduate education and graduated with three degrees from Stanford University.

It’s hard to sum up such a person and such a life in just a few paragraphs. Pat was someone who impacted countless people around the world. He had numerous adventures and was always there for his family. He took every chance to give back to others and make a difference. He was kind, generous, quiet, and strong.

Craig Thomas Wright, 72, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2024 surrounded by his daughters. He was born March 30, 1951 to Thomas and Esther Wright in Iowa City, and was raised near Marion. Craig attended Coe College and went on to proudly serve as a member of the St. Luke's Hospital Cardiac Surgical Team until his retirement.
