At the time of her death, Susan was residing in Boulder, Colorado, near her daughter Heather, son-in-law Mark, and granddaughters Ava and Shae. Until then, she resided in Marianna, Florida, with her husband of 31 years, John Wayne Davis. She will forever be remembered as that petite, beautiful woman who possessed unparalleled strength and stamina.

A Colorado resident since 2014, Emery was born and raised in Overland Park, KS.  She is survived by her husband of 11 years Miles, their two children Arlo (7) and Muna (5), her parents Charlie (Angie) and Laurie, siblings Thomas (Brooke) and Grant (Katie).

Cindy Heithoff Winsted, 71, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away surrounded by family on December 30, 2024, after a most courageous battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer.
